ELECTRO-MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Electro-Mechanical Technician

 

LOCATION: TULARE, CA

 

Requirements:

Minimum – Associate /  2 year technical degree

Computer Literate; Organized

Desire to satisfy a variety of customers

Dependable work record

Self-directed w/ minimal supervision

Clean Driver License Record

Flexibility to work nights or weekends (required)

Possible travel 10% overnight

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

 

Responsibilities:

SHOP –

            1. Maintain/Report monthly inventory level

2. Troubleshoot / Analyze failed drum motor(s) in-shop and/or onsite

3. Understanding of SPS procedures – simple tools – drilling & press tapping machines (at the minimum)

4. Must learn installation procedures & direct installation (required)

5. Order repair/replenish parts

 

OFFICE –

1. General administrative work as needed / related to office maintenance & record keeping

2. Ability to learn and use specialized data management  software onsite & remotely

 

CUSTOMERS –

1. Answer calls – visit job site if requested

2. Assist customers with service information

3. Price out repairs

4. Price out new motor / quote

5. Manage parts sales to “Authorized Repair Centers” in the west
