Description:Under general direction, independently, assist ESB Commercial Leads, Field Sales and Distributors in quoting new ESB business (both commercially and technically). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & COMPETENCIES:Functional Expertise:1.Develop and master technical expertise of specific products and technical standards / specifications used in ESB panels2.Provide written proposals to customers as needed.3.Look for ways to maximize the value added, impact of projects through cost cutting measures.4.Contribute ideas for innovation and continuous improvement of business and engineering systems on an ongoing basis.5.Become competent on Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.6.Become competent on new technologies, as in web based communication to enhance performance.7.Focus on internal and external techniques and procedures for cycle time improvement in commercial engineering and field sales.Qualifications:EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:EXPERIENCE : Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience Variable Speed Drive and/or Drive Systems experience.Experience as Commercial Engineer or equivalent Application Engineer role is required.
