ERP Business Analyst/Developer

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for an ERP Business Analyst/Developer at our Americas Headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN.

 

Your working tasks:

 

· Work with the business to identify, evaluate, configure and apply ERP functionality to achieve efficiencies in support of the business.

· Work independently with minimum supervision from the IT Director or his designated lead staff member.
Perform activities related to the analysis, development, testing, deployment, training and/or support of system functionality related to business processes.

· Manage a portfolio of work requests related to his or her area of knowledge and be responsible for resolving those requests.

· Organize and prioritize work requests to successfully support end users with systems issues and requests for enhanced/deployed functionality.

· Gather and articulate business requirements, develop conceptual designs and make recommendations.

· Work within a team environment to complete knowledge transfer and documentation improvements.

· Participate on teams with other analysts, developers, and internal clients as required.

· Provide system troubleshooting and resolution.

· Provide 24/7 IT support for IT systems when required.

· Continually seek self-education in information systems technology utilizing resource aides to their fullest potential.

· Must be willing to travel up to 25%, including International destinations.

 

Your profile:

 

· Four-year college degree in computer systems, business, or other equivalent discipline.

· Experience with UNIX O/S, ORACLE RDMS, and/or JD Edwards Enterprise One is highly desirable.

· Manufacturing, distribution, or other business systems experience a plus.

· Effective interpersonal skills providing the ability to work and communicate effectively with staff, management and clients.

· Excellent business, analytical and problem solving skills.

· Ability to start and work independently as well as in a team environment.

· Willingness and capability to learn new skills, concepts and technology.

· Results-oriented and positive attitude.
