The Project Manager functions as an integral member of the Company, providing quality,  structural design for Nimlok’s exhibit and custom display customers. You must manage each order from start to finish and provide a stamp of quality and approval.  This position requires an experienced individual, ideally one who has experience in one or more of the following – tradeshow exhibit design, industrial design, or architectural design.

 

Responsibilities:Manage each project/order from start to finish. Create and maintain a timeline for each project.Consistent demonstration of good design sense through a portfolio which includes space and structure.  Insure that any critical change to any project goes through the verification process.  Report all non-conformances to management.Clearly present/communicate designs, structure, estimates and ideas via email and telephone to Business Partners, distributors and clients.Act as a point of contact for all client previews.Inform and problem-solve with each Business Partner any concerns/problems during internal set-up prior to exhibit being sent/shipped.  Create and approve the quality of each project before it is shipped.  Track and approve the Company’s “quality assurance agreement” with all business partners.Must handle multiple deadlines and very tight turnarounds.

 

Requirements: 3-5 yrs of background/experience in tradeshow exhibit design, industrial design or architectureCAD skills are a must - skillful in communicating 3D space and design, both on paper and digitally Good communication skills, both verbal and writtenFluent with all of the common Adobe productsWorking knowledge of the Macintosh Operating System Background/experience in tradeshow exhibit design, industrial design, or architectural designSelf-starterWell-organized & detailed-orientedTypography, and graphic design, large format graphic design experience a plus Team PlayerB.A./B.S. preferred
