Electrical/Electronics Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity available in our C&I Engineering department for an Electronics Engineer. This individual is responsible for product design and development, including circuit design.Hardware design requirements include discrete circuitry as well as micro-controllers. Major Functions: Ensuring the highest quality design, manufactured components and products Designing analog circuits including power supply, amplifiers and sensors Acting as the main resource for power and line voltage design Performing tolerance analysis, considering high volume production Assisting in component documentation and review of component drawings Evaluating and approving sourced components Applying design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly concepts Providing technical assistance to Manufacturing, Marketing, and other functions Participating in design reviews for assigned projects Developing product functional and design specifications with development teamSkills & Abilities: Must be able to exercise sound judgment in analyzing and recommending design solutions Must be able to work and innovate independently Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously Must be able to implement design solutions that meet targets for accuracy, quality, cost, and timelinessEducation & Experience: BSEE required  Minimum of 5 years experience in analog / hardware circuit design Knowledge of commercial power systems is desired Experience in design of power electronic circuits Experience with analog design simulation tools Experience in design of electronic circuits for high-volume consumer electronics is desired Why work for Leviton?We offer an excellent benefits & compensation package, including 100% tuition reimbursement, on-site training & development, employee recognition and referral programs, 401(K), a company paid pension plan, and many more...
