Electrical Engineer / Controls Engineer

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Controls Engineer for their facility near Pinehurst, North Carolina.  This market leader of specialty products offers a solid history of product performance and a team-based work environment as an autonomous subsidiary of a much larger parent company.

 

The Electrical / Controls Engineer will design and oversee installation and maintenance of the electrical and control systems associated with new and existing equipment.  This leading supplier of its specialty products is continuously updating this facility by adding new equipment and processing systems designed to reduce cost and increase quality.

 

 

Requirements:

 BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.5+ years Electrical and Controls experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Demonstrated success programming / troubleshooting PLC’s using Rockwell Automation and Direct Logic software.Working knowledge of AutoCad Electrical software.Proven in-depth knowledge of electrical power wiring design principles.Proven knowledge of the application and use of AC VFD’s and other common electrical equipment.Track record of successful interaction with all departments of an organization.Strong interpersonal, planning, and organization skills.Proven technical writing and communication skills.Proven technical leadership and facilitation skills.
