Electrical Engineer (New Plant)

As an Electrical Engineer in our Ste. Genevieve, Missouri greenfield plant and a member of the Maintenance & Reliability Team, you  work closely with the Project Team, equipment suppliers, plant staff and Process Area Teams to ensure successful commissioning of the plant, participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines and bills of materials for electrical equipment, and help create safe systems, procedures and practices for a new plant with no historical data or information during the design, construction and commissioning phases. 

 

Once the plant is operational your contributions will include:Perform/coordinate electrical design and development of new equipment and the modification of existing electrical equipment consistent with plant standards, including equipment changes due to plant procedure changes Conduct economic and operational feasibility studies on proposed electrical modifications and additions Work with the Area Coordinator, Electrical to review existing PM routines and adjust according to equipment history and electrical availability Maintain, organize, prepare, review and revise drawingsPrepare engineering scope of work, cost estimates and justifications for the capital plan for electrical projectsMaintain a standard set of specifications for consistent application related to modifications or additions

With your education in Electrical Engineering and experience in manufacturing processes, electrical maintenance, 3-5 years electrical project experience, and working knowledge of PLC programming/process control systems your solid foundation will be instrumental to the team.  Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a cross-functional team, decision making skills and innovative approach towards problem solving drive success.
