This position will assist in identifying customer needs, developing conceptual process and procedures and performance expectations. Developing new products or controls for new products from concept to production. Mechanical design positions are open as well.  KEYWORDS:  meat, handling, processing, production, quality, electrical engineering, design, test, analytical skills, communication skills, C programming  RESPONSIBILITIES:  The primary responsibility will be designing controls and systems and testing products for Food Industry applications. Create Design drawings and tests to support controls for machinery and hand held devices. Design should be considerate of costs and manufacturability. Position will have responsibly for developing testing for new product/ systems. Important objectives are team participation with responsiveness to Sales, Engineering and Production. In this position, you will exhibit good judgement, integrity, ingenuity, and personal professionalism.  REQUIREMENTS:  The Company requires a minimum four-year degree (BSEE) in Engineering.  Minimum 5 years related experience in machinery electrical design or control systems engineering. Board level capability in design and programming in C is a plus. Qualified candidates will have a strong technical background. Excellent communication skills and the ability to gain the cooperation and confidence of others are required.  The ability to think on your feet and rapidly adjust to changing priorities is necessary. Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence and trust are essential. Strong documentation skills and reporting skills are required.  DESIRED:   Desirable attributes include advanced education and strong related experience.
