Electrical Supervisor - Shaw Industries, Inc.

Currently we have an opportunity available for an Electrical Supervisor in Aiken, SC.

 

Position Objective: This position provides front line leadership within manufacturing operational unit to a team of electricians who perform a variety of electrical functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of process and support equipment.

§ Responsibilities include resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving electrical issues.

§ Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

§ Accountable for equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks. Responsibilities include installation, repair and electrical maintenance of production and non-production equipment.

§ Working knowledge of the National Electric Code.

§ The ability to size major electrical components, including switches, breakers, conduit, conductors, overloads, relays, etc. in accordance with the NEC guidelines.

§ Experience with 480-volt, 3-phase electrical systems. Arc-flash knowledge/training. The technical ability to serve as the electrical 'expert' for the facility.

§ Previous industrial electrical experience in a 'hands-on' environment in regards to electrical systems.

§ Demonstrated electrical experience in an industrial facility with supervisory experience preferred. Experience with the operation and maintenance of PLC's and drives.

§ The ability to lead the compliance effort on all plant projects.

Requirements:

§ A high-school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's degree is preferred.

§ Must have at least two (2) years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment as an Electrical Supervisor or Master Electrician.
