Electrician Instrumentation

General Summary Responsible for the overall operational availability and functionality of the Campbell Soup World Headquarters Complex electrical/electronic equipment and systems. Acts to prevent potential problems in the electrical equipment before they cause unscheduled system downtime. Responsible to provide the safe, economical, and continuous operation of the site's electrical, fire alarm, BAS (building automation system ), UPS (uninterruptible power source), CCTV (closed circuit television), Instrumentation, emergency lighting and emergency generator systems. Must be willing to meet the demands of the facility in urgent and emergency situations. This may involve working overtime and could require weekends and holidays. Must be willing to be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the facility. The maintenance electrician may need to be accessible 24 hour a day - 7 days a week to meet the facilities requirements. Other duties include assisting general maintenance and utility technicians in the support building systems and operations. Required Skills, Licenses and Certifications * 5+ years of instrumentation and electrical. * High School Diploma * Must have 5+ years experience in a 1st class office or manufacturing building as an electrician. * Must have the skill to diagnose electrical problems, determine necessary repairs and restore defective equipment to service with a minimum of delay. * Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, hand books, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists and other written material associated with the maintenance and repair of equipment and systems within a reasonable time. * Knowledge of the use of specialized tools to perform necessary maintenance and troubleshoot equipment. * Working knowledge of the operation and maintenance requirements of medium voltage electrical equipment and systems, to 26KV. * Working knowledge of applicable regulations, standards and safety procedures. * Extensive knowledge of control systems hardware and software. * Ability to perform routine calibrations of facility instrumentation. * Have working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). * Have working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives. * Must possess a functional understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and HVAC systems and the relationship between different systems. * Must have experience in maintenance and repairs of motor and motor control centers. * Must possess valid driver's license, ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and able to climb ladders. * Must have excellent organizational skills, reporting, and record keeping. * Must have experience with PC and Microsoft Office Products. * Experience in working with direct digital computer building systems such as Johnson Controls Metasys.
