Position Summary
The Electromechanical Assembler position performs routine assembly operations of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies in the production line. Works from samples and simple drawings, as well as written and verbal instructions.  Various hand and power tools are used to perform the work.

Primary Responsibilities
Assemble parts (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete unit or subassembly at a bench, conveyor line, or assigned location. Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operation. Maintain an accurate inventory in work cell, which includes physical storage. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and tools required to accomplish daily tasks. Maintain a neat and orderly work area Other duties may be assigned


Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment required Able to routinely lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.  Close vision and color vision Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts desired
