Electronics Buyer – Milwaukee, WI

 

Responsibilities:

·  Manages all Purchases for Electonics and misc. production needs.

·  Oversees planning and positioning of inventories to maximize customer service while minimizing inventory carrying costs. 

·  Ensures the effective management of product transitions from an inventory standpoint.

·  Evaluates methodology and procedures for setting safety stock levels; recommends and implement changes as needed.

·  Analyze and recommend the disposition of excess and obsolete materials.

·  Develop and present monthly metrics to measure  performance relative to goals.

·  Implement and drives world-class performance in purchasing aninventory management strategies. 

·  Will be responsible for leveraging best practices that will achieve organizational goals by managing and optimizing demand plans, driving continuous improvements, and reducing total costs. Anticipates and communicates current and potential supply chain issues to management team and help's develop appropriate solutions.

 

Requirements:4 year Degree in Business or relevant.5 years or more experience in Electronic buying.Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skillsMicrosoft Office expertise in Word and ExcelDetail OrientedSelf ManagedProven analytical skillsFosters a team environmentAbility to multi task and prioritize opportunities
