Serve as project manager for major electronics development projects. Design and develop electronic/electrical products for industrial tools and automotive equipment applications. Take total systems level responsibility for a product hardware design. Direct the technical work of other engineers and technicians.

Job Duties: Provide project management services for complex electronics based projects. Provide electronics design and development of new products or product enhancements for the industrial tools and automotive equipment industry. Must be able to perform in a team environment with engineers from other disciplines and nationalities. Prepare thorough and accurate documentation for release to manufacturing and for internal product design records. Maintain an engineering notebook to document work activity in support of company's patent goals. Test and validate undercar products to assure product performance and quality. Work with manufacturing and service personnel to resolve problems and improve manufacturability and serviceability of products. Work with manufacturing engineering on value engineering initiatives to reduce product cost and/or improve performance of designs. Develop an understanding of the company's products and their applications. Assign and review the work of others.

Job Requirements: MSEE or MSEET with minimum 5 years design experience. Up to date knowledge in electronic design. Experience with use and application of RF and IR communications devices and protocols is essential. Capable of performing embedded programming to support designs. Basic understanding of complementary technical disciplines, particularly software and mechanical engineering. Able to work with others and with minimal supervision. Must possess excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. Must possess good problem solving and analytical skills. Must be able to demonstrate initiative. Must be proficient in the use of the computer for design and testing. Experience in project management and customer interface duties.
