End of Line Inspector - 2nd shift

Currently, we have an opening for an End of Line Inspector - 2nd shift in our Parsippany, NJ facility.  The responsibilities for this position include:

 

MAIN FUNCTION:

Perform end of line inspection on all manufactured parts to ensure uniformity and quality



 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·  High school diploma or technical school certification or equivalent (electronics)

·  Proficient with IPC Workman standards

·  Good oral communication skills

·  Ability to communicate effectively in English a plus

·  Basic PC skills

·  1-2 years related experience required

·  Ability to work well independently

·  Good attention to detail

·  Basic ESD/ISO knowledge



 



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·  Perform inspection of PCB's and components produced by SMT machines,  for conformance to requirements defined by procedures and documenting any findings in a timely manner

·  Perform audits of the manufacturing process and finished product in accordance with defined procedures/work instructions - seek corrective action by immediately alerting the area's supervisor of all findings

·  Input results of all inspections/audits into hard copy in a timely & accurate manner

·  Authorize line shut down, if a pattern of errors occurs

·  Perform random inspections, as well as up to 100% inspections, depending a what is found

·  Assist in other areas, as assigned
