Engineer 2 (Manufacturing)

CHI0113-Leading manufacturer of R/F Microwave cable assemblies in Woodridge, Illinois seeking an Engineer 2. 

Responsibilities: Create production documents (drawings, assembly procedures, process sheets, etc.) from customer drawings to support order fulfillment.Identify the need for, and design custom tooling, working with internal model shop.Work directly with sales and customers from the order quoting to fulfillment stages of a project.Analyze customer and supplier drawings for manufacturiing feasibility.Design and improve production process controls.

Requirements:2 years related work experience Ability to multi-task and manage small projectsExcellent computer skills: MS Office (Excel is a must), drafting software (Mechanical Desktop, Inventor), experience with Visual Basic is a plus Knowledge of Vector Network Analyzers and basic precision measurement tools is preferredExcellent oral/written communication skillsAbility to work with manufacturing tooling of various sizes
