Under immediate supervision, performs routine and simple engineering tasks to assist in product and/or process design and/or modification. This is an entry level engineering position. Incumbent will meet the engineering design and documentation requirements for a Family of Military Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) by designing, developing, analyzing, testing and implementing designs and improvements that are ultimately incorporated on the production line. Bachelors degree in related Engineering Discipline is required. Knowledge of and experience in the use of computers and job related software, including word processing, along with 0-2 years of engineering experience. Applicable engineering related degree to the particular position, e.g. Electrical Analysis, Testing or Mechanical, etc. is required. Incumbent has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
