This position would report directly to the Global Director of Engineering Polymers of INVISTA. Responsibilities: * Assist the director in developing and implementing strategies to enter the semicrystalline and high performance engineering polymers markets. * Leading the efforts to originate potential customers in the automotive, electrical and electronic, industrial, and consumer markets. * Determining the product types, formulations, and qualification requirements for each potential customer. * Working directly with R&D to develop a portfolio of products; * Developing the business systems and processes, assets and infrastructure, and product portfolio necessary to participate in this market segment. Qualifications: * Direct experience in one of the following areas: selling engineered nylons to automotive, electrical and electronic, industrial, cable tie, or consumer markets. * Direct experience in selling feedstocks or other products to independent compounders.* Detailed knowledge of nylon compounding and/or molding operations. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to be self-directed. * Bachelors Degree or higher. Experience/Skills Preferred: * 5+ years experience in a marketing role * Direct experience in new product development sales * Direct experience in technical service * Direct experience in selling compounded PBT/PET * Direct experience in selling and/or processing recycled nylons * Direct experience in contracting toll manufacturing * Direct experience in product development, nylon technical sales, and/or quality control. * Masters Degree or Doctorate: Chemistry, Engineering or Materials Science Additional site location for this position maybe considered.
