Engineering and Maintenance Manager Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Technical Manager is responsible for managing a team of maintenance, engineering, and technical personnel for a plastic extrusion site that is site. Responsibilities: Ø Manage Maintenance and Engineering activitiesØ Lead continuous and process improvement activities using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principalsØ Write capital expenditure proposals and provide capital project management. o Evaluate, develop and execute a broad spectrum of projects including project planning, feasibility studies, design, cost estimation preparation of appropriation requests.Ø Ensure effective use of Computerized Maintenance Management Software systemØ Work closely with plant management (operations, quality assurance, environmental health and safety) to develop projects to increase plant efficiencies and cost savingsØ Budget management Ø Hire, motivate, and train staff and allocate resources appropriately to ensure a cohesive team Requirements: Ø BS preferably in an Engineering discipline. Advanced degree / certifications a plus.Ø Minimum of 5-7 years experience in roles of increasing responsibility in Engineering/ Maintenance/ Process Engineering within Plastics ManufacturingØ 1-3 years supervisory experienceØ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent compensation and benefits package and excellent advancement potential!
