Entry Level IT Administrator

Franklin Sports is looking for a professional to join our Information Technology team.  This is a ground floor opportunity that will expose the right candidate to many facets of our IT operation.  Initially this person will learn the evening operations support function, primarily the ‘end of day’ activity of our AS/400 system, including back ups and preparation for the following day’s activity.  Once this process is learned and fully understood, this person will function as the backup to our evening operator and play a key role in updating the documentation for this position.  Additionally, this person will learn the numerous facets of our ‘help desk’ and support the end user environment at Franklin Sports.

 

We are looking for someone who is energetic, willing to roll up their sleeves, and engage as part of the IT support staff.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.  This position is ideal for someone who has studied in the Information Management field and is looking to apply their skills and expand their knowledge of IT.  This is a tremendous growth opportunity and ideal for a recent or soon to graduate college student.

 

The initial assignment will require the individual to work later in the day, either 1PM-9PM or Noon to 8PM.

 

Training will be provided as necessary.  Our environment includes:

AS/400 as our main transaction processor

Microsoft Office and Windows networking environment

Microsoft Exchange 2007 and active directory
