Envelope Adjuster / Apprentice

Envelope Adjuster / Apprentice Position Summary: Seeking mechanically included candidate who sets up and maintains mechanical components of Envelope production machines and equipment. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform size changes and adjustments as needed Retrieves stock for machine and machine operator Maintain quality checks during production Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions Set precision cutting dies Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalighnment, or other problems Removes and replaces worn or defective parts Realigns and adjusts components Locates damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machine, and measures, cuts, threads, and installs new pipes Starts machines and equipment to test operation following pair Repair broken parts. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Prefer 2 plus years of proven electronic and mechanical maintenance experience on production equipment. This is a temp to hire position that pays anywhere between 13.00-14.00/hr DOE. Client is wiling to work with school schedules. The hours are a second shift from 6pm-6am.
