As an Environmental Engineering Co-op/Intern, you will partner with our Environmental Affairs team in a highly analytical role to acheive the following: 

 

·  Gain in-depth exposure to chemical complexity of the cement manufacturing process and how raw material and fuel composition affect emissions

·  Work with Sr. Process Engineer in Environmental Affairs to analyze emissions data from our plant facilities and prepare data for reporting to EPA

· Assist in making recommendations to our plants regarding process improvements to reduce emissions and ensure compliance with government regulations

 

Qualifications

 Chemical Engineering or Chemistry majorJunior/Senior/MS standingMinimum 3.4 GPAStrong analytical skills, ability to recognize trends and discrepancies in large amounts of data from various sourcesStrong Excel skillsDetail oriented self-starterAbility to balance multiple projects with specific deadlines.Transportation to Waltham officeInternational and out of state students welcome to apply
