Air System Components, Inc. is a leading supplier of HVAC components used for commercial comfort systems. We are a limited partnership of a $6 billion-dollar New York Stock Exchange company.  We are a leading manufacturer of air handling components in North America.  We supply the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) market with a range of products including fans, grilles, registers, diffusers, fan coils, and terminal units for residential and commercial applications.  We currently have an opening for an Environmental & Safety Coordinator for our Richardson, Texas location. 

 

 

Environmental & Safety Coordinator

 

This is a full time position working days.  Duties include:  Equipment evaluation, environmental compliance auditing and monitoring, layouts, plant consolidations, and lean manufacturing implementation.  Incumbent will provide multi-support for multi-plant locations.  You must be project oriented with proven accomplishments with manufacturing plant safety programs and environmental health/safety experience.  Must be willing to travel locally up to 50%.   

 

 

Qualifications:

 Three to five years related work experience Experience in safety compliance, environmental and OSHA standardsB.S. degree in Environmental Engineering/Safety preferredProficient in manufacturing safety concepts and LOTOSix Sigma knowledge a plusProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent Organizational Skills, Quick LearnerDetailed Oriented, Self-motivatedBi-lingual Spanish/English is a plus
