Job Requirements Include:  Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemistry, Biology, or related physical science field. Minimum 3 years experience in compliance related environmental work. (RCRA, EPCRA, TSCA, CWA and SARA) Must be able to communicate effectively in both the oral and written format.  Must be able to handle multiple priorities while working in a fast paced environment.  Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Experience with MS Access and drawing software (Auto CAD Lt, AutoSketch, Quick CAD, etc) a plus. Must be a self starter, exhibiting independent thinking skills with a strong initiative.  Must be willing to travel 30 – 40% of the time.

 

Description of Duties: Auditing of environmental compliance. Completion of Air Emissions Reports, Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Reports, and SARA Reports. Preparation of applications for environmental related permits. Tracking of regulatory issues with potential impacts to our business units. Train employees on environmental best management practices, recordkeeping, and sample collection techniques. Assist with project management oversight of contractors working on remediation projects. Assist with property environmental due diligence. Evaluate and implement new technologies as required for compliance. Manage environmental risk with respect to operational practices (on-site) and recycling facilities for environmentally sensitive materials (off-site).
