Equipment Engineer

We are seeking a Equipment Engineer to support the production of toner products by troubleshooting, designing, modifying, or improving process equipment and implementing new processes to support new products.

 The Equipment Engineer will:

·  Troubleshoot technical problems on manufacturing equipment and processes.

·  Implement countermeasures for problems. 

·  Design and investigate equipment or parts related to assigned projects. 

·  Prepare technical reports, progress reports and presentations. 

·  Oversee work crew of outside contractors and/or in-house maintenance techs during new construction or modification projects. 

·  Communicate and negotiate with outside vendors or contractors. 

·  Keep abreast of recent developments or latest trends in manufacturing methods through internet searches or by consulting with outside vendors, trade organizations, and/or professional groups. 

·  Train operators on the use of any newly installed or modified equipment or process.

 

Qualifications:

·  BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering required. 

·  Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing equipment engineering required. 

·  Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing equipment engineering in powder handling industry preferred. 

·  Must have excellent problem-solving, creative thinking and decision making skills. 

·  Must have good communication (verbal and written), negotiation, statistical analysis, and research skills. 

·  Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

·  AutoCad design and PLC programming experience preferred. 

·  Some travel required.
