Equipment Engineering Manager - H1757

Job Description Manager of Vacuum Equipment Engineers and Technicians in support of wafer fabrication equipment.  Tooling types include Anelva, Veeco, Unaxis, Norkio, Genus,  ASM, and Comptech. Technologies include DC Magnetron, RIE, PECVD, Ion Mill, PVD, and Magnetic Annealing.  Leadership Responsibilities include:  -Strategic and tactical organization of  Equip Engineering according to management priorities  -creative problem solving to improve short term tool availability  - teamwork with Mfg, Maintenance, and Process Engineers  -motivate team  to bring performance to the ‘next level’  -root cause analysis, corrective and preventitive action of equipment failures  -Project management of cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement in yield, quality, MTBF, availability, and costJob Requirements Requires 10+ years of Equip and/or Process Engineering Experience/knowledge in HDD Heads wafer manufacturing.  Proven leadership and program management capabilities of a technical team.  How to Apply TO APPLY: hgstcareers@hitachigst.com Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
