We have an immediate opening for an Evening Shift Supervisor at our Nampac Plant in Lithonia, GA. 

 

The Shift Supervisor supervises all shift employees and complies with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.

 

 

Reports To: Plant Manager

 

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in related field or commensurate

experience.

 

Experience:  3+ years previous experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment.  Experience working with Unions is desired. 

 

Responsibilities Include: 

 

● Supervises all personnel and operations on the shift – approximately  

16 hourly employees.

● Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and

equipment.

● Reports any process and equipment problems.

● Trains, upgrades, evaluates, and reviews production workers.

● Organizes work for smooth operations.

● Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and 

procedures are followed.

● Distributes plant status reports to the next shift supervisor.

● Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety 

   equipment.

● Performs other related duties as required.  

● The shifts are 12 hour shifts.  All applicants must be willing to work

3-4 days per week, working every other weekend.
