Identifies and monitors industrial bearing competitors and researches industrial bearing market conditions or changes in the industrial bearing industry that may affect sales.  Will implement research and development programs to meet organizational needs and to capitalize on potential new products based on the previously performed market and sales research.  Could lead into overseeing overall manufacturing operations which may include manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, materials, quality assurance/control, and human resources.
