Job Description/Qualifications:

This is a PART TIME position.  Develop, initiate, and manage a comprehensive quality assurance program. Document known issues and solutions, initiating corrective action for product and process deficiencies. Log defects and track assigned defects, working with production team to resolve any defects. Develop and manage inspection procedures for incoming and final inspection procedures to prevent defects and eliminate rework and waste. Oversee internal and external audits of company processes and quality policies and procedures. Ensure quality is integrated into workflow processes and interact with suppliers to ensure incoming quality defects are reported and eliminated. Project manage R&D initiatives to meet time deadlines and stay within budget. Experience in implementing lean manufacturing techniques. Attend design reviews and advise on matters of quality assurance. Interact with production department to ensure implementation of quality systems, as well as validate work instructions and assembly procedures.  Qualified candidates should possess:

 

- 5 or more years of related experience within a quality management manufacturing environment at the managerial level

- Strong interpersonal, organizational and management skills

- A college degree in a related field or equivalent experience

- Willing to work part time
