Executive/Marketing Assistant

Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. (YCAS) offers complete integrated sound solutions for the commercial audio market which includes concert halls, churches, broadcasting & music recording.  Products offered include digital audio mixing systems, digital production consoles, sound reinforcement consoles, processors, amplifiers, speakers, and DSP engines.  We currently have an opening for an Executive Assistant with a background in Marketing support.

Support YCAS Vice President/General Manager in any capacity required including but not limited to:Preparation of various marketing, sales and other reports and presentations utilizing Powerpoint, Keynote and other software and materials.Assist in planning and execution of trade shows and other special events and meetings.Market research and other data gathering and management for special projects.Assist with schedule and travel management, expense reports, contracts and other documents.Facilitate communications to and from the VP/GM office to various Yamaha divisions and departments as well as trade associations, customers, etc.Organize and maintain various sales and marketing data bases.Any other duties as required by Vice President/General Manager.

Desired qualifications:Prior experience as executive assistant or similar position.Good computer skills, experience with basic business software like Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.Experience with presentation software like Microsoft Powerpoint, Apple Keynote, etc.Graphic experience with OmniGraffle a plus.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication skills and teamwork oriented personality.Audio or other technical background desirable.French and/or Japanese language skills a plus.High school diploma required.  Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field a plus.Commercial Audio industry experience a plus.
