1st and 2nd shift CNC Operators

We are looking for highly skilled and motivated individuals to perform set-ups and operate numerical controlled lathes or machining centers to perform turning, boring, facing, threading, and similar operations on standard valve components such as bodies, yokes, stems, and others, in various sizes and pressure ratings.  Materials consist of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys. 

Successful candidates will be skilled in: 

Using a variety of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, depth gages, vernier calipers, thread gauges, etc. 

 Interpreting drawings to establish sequence of operations and make set-ups in conjunction with established operation sheets. 

 Touching off tools and entering coordinates into the computer console as required. 

 Selecting tools and holders, installing appropriate fixtures or other holding devices and aligning and setting stops to complete set-up of machines.  Setting feeds and speeds in accordance with machinability of material and finish requirements. 

 Obtaining first piece inspection and incorporating any changes that may be required to produce acceptable quality product. 

 

1st shift -- Monday thru Friday -- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

 

2nd shift -- Monday thru Thursday -- 3:30 pm to 2:00 am
