You can learn more about INVISTA by visiting www.INVISTACareers.com Job Description:The Re-Melt Extruder Operator (REO) position involves loading, monitoring and controlling continuous supply of fiber and/or plop to weigh belts, extruders, feeders, and associated flake conveying equipment using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operator interface to manufacture pellets to pre-determined specifications. Troubleshoot problems with all equipment controlled through the PLC. Operate pellet pack out stations according to standard operating procedures.Experience & Skills Required: Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, Able to work 12-hr rotating shifts including night, weekends, and holidays, Willing to work Overtime as needed, Able to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes and ear plugs, Ability to work in a machine-paced continuous process Able to work as a member of a team, Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds Experience & Skills Preferred: Experience with PLC or DSC controlled processes, Experience with the Polymer process, Experience with the extruder process, Experience operating skid steer, fork truck and electric transporter Other considerations: Must successfully pass a post offer physical abilities test, Educational Requirements: High School diploma or GED We are an equal opportunity employer.
