Job Opportunity Snapshot:

 Set-up, teardown and operate a single screw extruder in the extrusion of custom plastic profiles. Inspect product per specifications and adjust extrusion line to meet requirements.  Maintain daily production goals.  Report production issues to plant management on a timely basis.Clean and maintain machinery, tools and work area as scheduled or as needed. Perform a variety of mechanical and physical testing required for product development.Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.  Maintain log books and other documents relating to manufacturing needs.Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practicesPerform other duties as required or as directed

 

Essential Qualifications

 At least 2 years of experience working with plastic extrusion equipment, precision measurement devices and computerized control systems.Ability to prioritize multiple daily tasks to ensure work is completed with minimal supervision.Maintenance or machine shop experience a plusWillingness to work first, second or third shift
