Qualifications:

Position Summary (Fabrication Supervisor - Swing):Looking for a hands on, data driven individual to be a Swing Shift Fabrication Supervisor in manufacturing various sapphire products. The main objective is to provide leadership and manage the department; make decisions; solve problems and develop departmental procedures as needed.Specific Responsibilities:• Responsible for the safety, quality, productivity and cost of designated sapphire products.• Directing the department to ensure effective, timely, and efficient completion of daily/weekly manufacturing schedules.• Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimal costs and prevent operational delays.• Maintaining a work force to meet capacity plan.• Identifying and solving production related problems and implementing changes to the manufacturing processes.• Use Lean Manufacturing practices to improve yields, efficiency, and throughput. • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are updated and train Operations as needed.• Ensuring all departmental personnel are adhering to company policies and procedures.Requirements:• Minimum of an Associates degree or higher.• 3 years experience in supervising a high volume manufacturing environment required. Must be able to effectively supervise 15 or more employees.• Familiar with MS Office Products.• Experience using Statistical Process Control and be familiar with Lean Manufacturing.• Self motivated and ready to face production challenges.
