Facilities Engineering Manager

 

Responsible for planning plant, office and production (semiconductor) equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities and equipment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs for Facility and Fab projects (Capital and Expense)Develops criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codesCoordinates with architecture/ engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawingsPrepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisitions.  Inspects construction and installations progress for conformance to established drawings, specs and schedules.Manage Engineering personnel work performance for – volume, quality, and deadlines.  Write performance improvement plan as needed.PresentationsResearch, analyze, and compile data of site facility systems for capacities needed to support production for present and future growth – HVAC, DI water, Electrical

 

Candidate should have minimum of 8 years related experience or 5 years minimum working in the semiconductor industry.  BS degree in Mechanical/ Electrical is required.
