 Job Summary

Manages the planning, direction and coordination of all facilities.  Responsible for the safety of all employees and environmental requirements for each facility.  Leads the effort to create innovative and cost-effective ideas to sustain and improve the facilities.

Provides support for process improvement activities. 

 Essential FunctionsProactively manage all aspect of facilities maintenance in a cost effective manner Manage lawn care, snow removal, electric, gas, recycle, garbageGeneral building maintenance includingBasic mechanical projectsBasic electrical projectsBasic plumbing projectsManage remodeling projectsMaintain a clean and well-kept building  Manage contractors – Including quotes, schedules and work completionsManage security systemPurchase and maintain supplies for the company (cleaning supplies, lunchroom supplies) Responsible for the company safety program (OSHA Log, Worker’s comp, safety training programs)Responsible for compliance with environmental requirements. (air emissions, noise levels, city ordinances, waste water discharge, hazardous waste disposal)Manage service to employees – Vending machines, coffee, fresh waterProvide support to manufacturing to install and commission production equipment Supports the servicing of equipment and vehicles through maintaining a preventative maintenance program and relationships with contract repair companies.Provide services to the owner of the company on an as needed basis Miscellaneous projects

 Job QualificationsTwo year technical degree in related field or equivalent experience Desirable: degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to work with minimal supervisionProject management education and experience
