Set Your Success in Motion by joining MTS Systems Corporation!  MTS currently has a need for a Field Service Engineer to support our Service Organization.

 

Responsibilities Include:Manage customer base and business activities to optimize customer satisfaction, efficiency of operation, revenue generation, margin levels, and service contract performance. Install, maintain and repair assigned equipment population in accordance to MTS guidelines and Customer expectations. Diagnose equipment problems to the major sub-sections of the system (i.e. controllers, hydraulics, data acquisition systems, transducers, grips, fixtures, etc.) Restores equipment operations. Perform calibrations relevant to assigned customer base. Assist Service Sales through the understanding of customer requirements and the development of value propositions. Provide support to other customers outside of assigned territory as required.

Qualifications Include:Vo-tech certification in electronics or equivalent military training and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience or equivalent. Military training or industry experience will be considered in lieu of recognized educational program. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast pace environment. Field based position - requires the ability to travel with minimal notice.
