Field Services Training Manager

Position Responsibilities:
· Provide training to FS/FSRs for all products (personally or using factory and part-time instructors)
· Upkeep of all FS training records utilizing the Training Management System (TMS) and the curriculum spreadsheed
· Internal training sourcing (working with vendors, etc.)
· Scheduling internal training in required courses
· Updating resumes on the TMS
· Administer all product line assessments
· Utilize distance learning as applicable for remote users
· Monitoring of passport progress
· Administer the certification process
. Administer the NCCER assessments
. Coordinate the use of Web-Based programs
. Design and maintain hands-on workstations
. Manage new workstations projects: design, source parts and materials, coordinate manufacture and painting through
shop, and develop course materials associated with the station
. Arrange for repair of existing equipment as needed
. Travel up to 25%

Knowledge:
Must be mechanically inclined and have a good understanding of the workings recip and centrifugal compressor and steam turbines.

Must have a basic understanding of adult learning and the ability to empathize with the students.

Must be able to demonstrate good writing, and course development skills.

Must be proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Formal Education Requirement:
AA in mechanical field; BSME a plus but not required.

Other:
Training experience (preferably educated in adult learning)

Field Service Experience

Able to travel long distances by airplane

Valid driver’s license

Passport holder

No travel restrictions

Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients

Safe work record; will be subject to passing client safety orientations before entering plants and refineries.

Product knowledge

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Public speaking ability

Computer/electronic equipment literate

Multi-tasking

Organizational skills

Complete knowledge of hand-tools

Mechanically inclined
