Job Description Final Test Technician Job Title:  Final Test Technician Reports To:  Production Manager Group/Division:  Scientific Instruments Division Career Band:  Associate, Band II Location:  Austin, TX No. of Direct Reports:  None Day/Shift:  Standard Business FLSA Status:  Non-ExemptWe currently have an opening in our Austin, Texas facility for a Final Test Technician.Position Summary: The Final Test Technician will  qualify GCMS systems to meet quality standards; set up and operate gas chromatograph and mass spectrometers,  including troubleshooting and repair of subassemblies to meet quality and productivity standards; trouble shoot assemblies; process repairs on assemblies within a specified customer time frame; maintain the Manufacturing Process/Product Controls which could include; machine maintenance, ECO generation/implementation, assembly documentation, statistical process control and quality measure data and assist in the building of new prototypes and in the design review of new product introductions.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Two year associate degree in electronics or chemistry is highly preferred.  High School education or equivalent is required.
