Finance Manager

Description:Job Summary:The NGS FP&A manager will have primary responsibilities for managing all financial planning, coordination and reporting of NetApps $500M+ Global Services business. The candidate will routinely work with the NGS Finance team, NGS Executive Staff, Field Ops Finance and Corporate FP&A Teams, and will be the primary conduit between NGS and HQ Finance. Essential Functions: - Manage the Annual Planning Process (AOP) including coordination with NGS BU Controllers, Field Operations HQ, Geographies, deliverables, schedules and planning coordination. Manage AOP calendar, consolidations, target setting and cross organizational planning initiatives.- Responsible for Annual, Quarterly and Monthly Service Bookings and Revenue forecasts. - Develop and maintain operational and financial metric reporting in support of the NetApp Global Services business.- Coordinate the monthly forecasting process with the NGS and Field Operations Finance teams- Coordinate the NGS Close process including calendar, deliverables, consolidation, and reporting.- Planning and forecasting systems expert for NGS Finance- Develop, change and sustain reports, files and analytic approaches to the Netapp Global Services business. Suggest innovative ways to analyze or report on the NGS business model.- Business Partner support to Services HQ organizations (Service Operations, Quality, Admin, etc).- Ad hoc special projects as requiredQualifications / Experience:- Demonstrated competency and experience within a FP&A roleo Experience in a fast growing, high paced company preferred.- Preferred experience in a Services businesso Exceptional understanding of operational metricso Confidence and experience level to manage the potential contradiction that can occur between field based and corporate based organizations.- Solid influencing and negotiations skills. This individual must work effectively with Staff to Executive Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties. - Requires 8+ years related work experience preferably with a US multi-national company. - Ability to think globally, but act locallyo Superior Excel, PowerPoint skills, with a propensity for understanding and using internal financial systems (Khalix, Hyperion, Oracle, etc)- Sense of humor and a "work hard, play hard" mentality a musto Candidate should possess a track record of strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team. Candidate must be a self-starter and execute both strategically and operationally. Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to build working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote locations. Strong influencing skills and results orientation a must. Education: Minimum of BA or BS in Business.
