Finance Manager/ Controller

 

Distribution Company located in North Miami seeks hands on Controller. This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s Accounting and Credit functions, including all HR and Payroll . Reporting  directly to the CEO. General responsibilities for all financial reporting, analytical projects, internal controls, key indicators. Salary range between 70k and 80k depending upon experience.

 

Essential Duties:

 Closing Monthly Financials, Preparation of J/E’s and Financials Statements and ConsolidationPrepare Balance Sheet Account AnalysisAssure efficient work flow within DepartmentManage Credit area and assure timely collectionsAssure timely recording of payables, invoicingAssure continual review and upgrades of internal controlsManage HR function including benefit administration.Develops and implements procedures for special projects as requiredProvide accounting support and procedures to the Sales department within company guidelines.Prepare monthly analytical reports Manage Cash Flow

 

 

Requirements:At least 8 years related experience.Must have at least 5 years supervisory experience.Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.Prior experience with MAS 90/200 systems a plusAbility to effectively present information financial data in a clear and concise manner.Strong computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Strong written and verbal communication skills.
