Position Summary:
Responsible for managing Forecast and Close activities for the financial close process.
Leads high impact step change projects that significantly reduce effort in the record portion of the financial close process
Develop and implement change management strategy and appropriate communications
Manage and define business requirements for implementation of systems, process and policy changes
Partner with flexible reporting team on reporting step changes that interrelate with the close
Partner with Sub-Process Owners and teams to leverage process improvements, step changes and capability building strategies outlined in continuous improvement roadmaps
Work with the IS function to design solutions and strategies where necessary to achieve project goals
Conduct process and policy workshops for implementation
Develop documentation and training programs where necessary to enable implementation of changes and build to an end state vision for the record process
Serve as a subject matter expert to inform the international ERP implementation


Required Qualifications:
6+ years of professional work experience in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience.
SAP or other ERP systems experience.
CPG industry experience.
Prior industry experience in financial reporting, consolidations or similar technical areas.
Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead a team, implement significant projects, and drive toward “world class” performance.
Ability to lead, influence and earn respect of business partners within and outside of the Finance function
Ability to assess processes and systems to determine whether they are functioning properly, and identifying and implementing corrective actions when needed
Proactively reach out to understand business needs and drive for process improvements and efficiency
Strong organization and project skills to plan and execute to drive results
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience
MBA or other certification may be required. Certified Public Accounting (CPA) and/or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
