Finance and Administration Manager
Safe Sight (www.safesight.net) is a rapidly growing Austin based security systems integration company specializing in IP based system deployments for commercial clients in Texas and the surrounding region. A new position with the company; the Finance and Administration Manager position will have a strategic role in managing company financial interests and constructing internal processes to position the organization for further expansion.
Finance and Administration Manager
While reporting to the President, the Finance and Administration Manager is a key member of the management team responsible for the financial administration and accounting practices of the company and will perform financial analysis, advise the President in regard to financial matters while developing infrastructure and strategy to support aggressive company growth.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain the highest degree of personal integrity and professionalism with our clients, vendors and employees
· Manage, administer and maintain internal policies and assets
· Supervise administrative and bookkeeping personnel
· Establish accounting methods procedures and practices and monitor compliance with generally acceptable accounting practices
· Administration and oversight of all financial transactions including payroll, customer invoices, purchase orders, payables, as well as tax and other liabilities
· Manage company's financial relationships with customers, vendors and creditors including timely, efficient and cost effective procurement of equipment and materials and customer invoicing and receivables
· Assist with customer and sub-contractor contract administration
· Conduct analysis of financial and operational performance and provide reporting
· Primary administrator of financial and administrative systems
· Develop, maintain and administer company budget and financial projections
· Risk management including insurance and project bonding
· General oversight of office operations and environment
· Provide assistance with other office duties including answering telephones, shipping and receiving, general office administration and customer support
· Administer and manage personnel documents and oversee compliance with company policies
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, a minimum of 5 years experience with 3 years experience in a small office environment in a role responsible for bookkeeping and administration of financial records, as well as general office administration. Financial experience should include Account Payable and Receivable, Sales Tax remittance and budgeting. Exposure to Human Resources requirements and supervisory experience are a plus. An understanding of the importance of corporate policies and procedures and the capability of developing such procedures required. Experience with Construction accounting and Notary Public commission desired. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, 40 wpm typing, and the ability to learn new systems quickly is essential. Proficiency in Quick Books is required. Candidate must also possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented. Ability to pass a background screen a must!
