And we welcome anyone who shares our commitment to ingenuity and excellence.EOE/AA EmployerResponsibility Level:Responsible for performing in-depth financial planning and business analysis as it relates to Business Unit operations, providing senior management insight into financial trends, and reviewing operating performance.  Also responsible for developing / maintaining financial models and assisting in the preparation and presentation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.  Must be able to work directly with Business Unit personnel at various levels, including senior management. Principal Duties:1.  Assists in the preparation and consolidation of monthly financial forecasts and annual operating plans for the Business Units.  This includes assisting with the Business Unit Department budgets and cost allocations, developing and maintaining the related models as appropriate. 2.  Assists in analyzing plans and forecasts and reporting on trends and variances from previous forecasts, plans, and prior years.3.  Assures that Business Unit plans and forecasts are valid and meet all Group and Corporate requirements.4.  Assists in consolidating, analyzing, and interpreting operating results as they impact the financial position of the Business Units.  This includes identifying, monitoring, and reporting on trends, key indicators, and variances from budget, forecast, and prior year.5.  Reviews preliminary financial results and works with accounting to prepare journal entries necessary to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements.6.  Assists in the preparation and review of management reports and presentations. 7.  Assists and supports Business Unit financial planning departments to simplify and improve planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. 8.  Assists in monitoring Business Unit capital projects.9.  Participates in a wide variety of projects and other duties on an ad hoc basis.  Requirements:Strong financial and analysis skills.  B.S. - Finance or Accounting.  Public Accounting or an MBA or completed course work toward an MBA and/or a CMA or CPA are highly desirable qualifications.  Finance / accounting / programming skills (PC use in particular) are a must.  Strong communication skills are required.  Minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in related field.  Some project management skills and Hyperion Enterprise database experience preferred.
