Flux Core Welder

 

Fabricate, weld, and repair Varco products.  Adhere to and implement proper welding procedures; Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances set forth on drawings; Produce quality product while focusing on given standards; Adherence to processes such as SMAW, FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, ACC, and SAW; Layout, fit and weld advanced weldments with or without the aid of fixturing; Handle heavy material manually and with overhead cranes in a safe manner; Assure all welding is performed and documented in compliance with Varco’s Quality Control policies; Maintain trace ability requirements by completing documentation; Clean and maintain welding equipment; Follow all safety rules and report unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment.  Qualified applicant must have a High school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years welding, including flux core) experience, excellent print reading skills and the ability to interpret all welding symbols.

 

Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift.  Must be reliable, dependable, work safely, and the ability to work in a team environment.
