Freight Auditor

We currently have an opening in our Traffic department for a Freight Auditor.  This position is responsible for auditing carrier freight bills for accuracy and adherence to published agreements, maintaining the automated freight payment system, and to assist in processing and paying freight bills. Major Functions: 1. Audits freight bills to insure rate accuracy and adherence to tariffs and agreements.2. Maintain the effective rates loaded in the automated freight system.3. Load up carriers rates into the system as needed.4. Analysis of traffic lanes, rates and costs.5. Reports freight rate discrepancies to management.6. Obtains paperwork from carrier/facilities as needed via phone, fax, or internet.7. Assists in maintaining the Customer Preference screens.8.
