Functional Oracle Consultant with Financial Background Needed!

Our North Dallas client is seeking an Oracle Consultant with a financial background for a long-term contract engagement. This individual will assist the credit and collections team, primarily training to maxmizing the use of the AR and Collections modules within Oracle. Other responsibilities include:



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with close processes in Oracle

· Manage Credit and Collections Statement and Discounts hotline

· Assist with management and documentation of statement outsourcing process

· Manage and document unclaimed receivables research and repayment process.

· Manage and document process and setup of optician dispenser reimbursements.

· Work with management to establish credit and collections performance matrix’s in Oracle using Oracle standard reporting and ad-hoc reporting tools.

· Work with management and reporting superusers to automate monthly reporting requirements using Oracle Business Analytics Reporting (Formerly Siebel Business Analytics).

· Work with management to prepare month end close checklist.

 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred

· Prior experience managing a credit and collections department using Oracle preferred

· Prior experience using Siebel Business Analytics reporting tool desired

· Prior experience with accounts receivable systems conversions to Oracle and AR/Collections modules required

· 3+ years Oracle Accounts Collections experience using version 11.5.7 or higher

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word a must

· Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, organized
