Furniture Manager (LA Furniture District)


High end to the trade furniture manufacturer is seeking a furniture manager to oversee our furniture production-manufacturing facility. Position will report directly to the owners and manage a fine furniture finishing department, a cabinetry department, and an upholstery department.

Manager will manage all manufacturing activities including production, quality control, transportation, safety, outsourcing, as well as administrative work.

Will be responsible for meeting delivery schedules, staff performance, quality control and maintaining customer service.

Will be responsible for hiring and training qualified workmen/artisans.

Will be responsible for protecting company assets and enforcing company policy.

Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure as a team builder.

A minimum of five years management experience is required. A high school diploma is required, a college degree is preferred.
