We currently have a GTE PROJECT ENGINEER career opportunity at our Dudley, Massachusetts location.

 

POSITION PURPOSE:

 

This position is to provide engineering, engineering design, and project management guidance in the development of new product lines, production equipment and processes concerning injection molding of thermoplastic ophthalmic lenses.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Provide project management skills for the implementation of new equipment, tooling, and processes related to injection molding.Perform layout, design, development, procurement and implementation of new equipment, tooling and processes.  Provide engineering, design and development of equipment, tooling, and processes.

Thoroughly document all results using a technical report format and any necessary yields, graphs, or other pertinent information.

Ensure current procedures are followed or updated to reflect current conditions.

Support all PC sites for any injection molding process related issues.

Perform other related duties as required

International travel within Essilor is required.



 

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:



 

Education equivalent to a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering preferably with a specialization in injection molding and 3 to 5 years experience
