General Ledger Manager

Our client in Middlesex County NJ has an opportunity for a General Ledger Accounting Manager for a 3 month contract assignment that COULD turn into a perm opportunity.

Individual will be responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliation/analysis; Inter company Reconciliations; Posting of GL transactions. Prior experience with Oracle is a must.
50% Responsible for the accuracy of the Balance sheet account Reconciliations; Complete/Review Inter company Reconciliations.
15%Assist in month-end closing process--OT is required
20% AR Reconciliation related to cash applications and deposits; Oracle is a must
15% Interact with Account Controllers and performs all necessary research on GL related questions/issues

Bachelors degree in Accounting, along with 4+ years professional accounting experience; Strong communication & presentation skills, along with excellent analytical ability, are required; Knowledge of Excel is a must. Same industry experience is a plus.

Manages department and may manage staff; or manages programs, processes; Management experience is a plus.
