Glass Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Our Company is one of North America's largest architectural glass & aluminum fabricators and distributors, with over 30 locations nationwide. We are currently seeking a Glass Shipping and Receiving Supervisor located at our Fort Worth, Texas facility. Our Company is continuing to grow at a tremendous rate, which presents a great opportunity for applicants to join our company and ultimately achieve their long-term career goals.  Summary of Qualifications: · Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, personnel requirements and work assignments to meet shipping and receiving schedules.· Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities pertaining to glass products, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.· Inspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facility for repair.· Compiles records of unfilled orders.· Prepares bills of lading.· Issues written and oral instructions.· Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.· Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.· Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.· Adjusts errors and complaints.  Experience/Education:  ·  High school diploma,  At least 5 years of warehouse experience required.  Two-years of Supervisory experience preferred.  Working knowledge of Microsoft office.   ·  Benefits: Full time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including: vacation, holidays, medical & dental benefits, life insurance, and 401k with matching contributions. Interested and qualified local candidates should email their resume and salary requirements to abernard@archaluminum.net  *Only qualified, local candidates will be contacted.
